2008-04-17 : no more exams.. for now.
Very often, life is like a video game. It's full of simple action/reaction sequences. If you do this, you can anticipate something else happening.

However, games sometimes incorporate an element of surprise, like when you think you've downed that last, final boss at the end of the game and stand up shouting with joy... only to find that that wasn't really his true form and that you have to fight his final form. Oh, how bitter is the taste in the mouth of he who has had his triumph torn from him!

..Perhaps that was overly dramatic. What I wanted to say is that although we've officially finished m1, like the horror show monster that comes back to life when you go over to see if it's really dead, there's a chance that some of us (i.e. myself included) will have to re-down a boss that we'd thought we'd already disposed of.

Worst thing is that we won't even know if we've downed it until we walk over and check. By which time if it's alive we'll have about 2 turns to get ourselves ready.

So I'm simply going to assume that it hasn't been downed yet and prepare for its rebirth. If it turns out that it is truly dead, I'll be able to relax, but if not, at least I won't be killed by it.
