So we found a good way to mug for spots, which is using spots questions from the previous year and having one person read them out while the others try to answer. It works quite well for us, because it shows the holes in your knowledge.

Perhaps next time we should make it into some sort of game show where people have to press one of those buzzer things to answer and get points.
