2007-11-21 : in case you couldn't tell, i'm under a bit of pressure.
Misery looves company. For example, if I�m having a tough time mugging, it�s nice to know that other people are having a tough time mugging as well. It�s not so nice to have other people complain that their mugging isn�t going well and then have someone come over and ask you a question and have the very same people answer the question fluently. It happens more than you think, and it�s quite comical from a third person point of view. Not so funny from where I am, which is, most of the time, in a rather shocked state.
It�s just like all those people who say they�re going to fail an FA and then come back looking trying to look all surprised that they got 17/20. Of course, there are people one step beyond that, the people who say they�re going to fail, get 17/20, and then proceed to moan about how horribly they did when you�re gazing wistfully at your 12/20.
Hoho med school is a place full of incredibly owning people.
