2009-04-01 : wrong!
I was wrong. Not only was I wrong, unexpected circumstances arose. These circumstances were wholly unexpected. I had never thought of these circumstances before. I am a failure at understanding situations! That a situation would resolve itself without a dramatic trigger/confrontation and that a long-term solution would be rejected was unthinkable. It happened nonetheless. I am a failure. Strategic analysis failure!

It's good that stuff is resolved, though.
